Terms of service.
Effective as of March 2022
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") form a legally binding agreement between The Temple of You and the Client. By booking and paying for services, the Client agrees to these terms.
1. DEFINITIONS
“Service Provider” refers to The Temple of You, operated by Egle Aleknaviciute.
“Client” means any individual or organization purchasing or receiving services.
“Services” refers to coaching, healing, or related offerings provided by the Service Provider, including but not limited to one-on-one sessions, group masterminds, digital downloads, retreats, or any other current or future services.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Clients must be 18 years or older and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these criteria.
3. NATURE OF SERVICES
Services are delivered online or in person, depending on the specific offer, and may include live calls, pre-recorded modules, or digital materials. Services are personal and non-transferable.
The Service Provider reserves the right to make adjustments to group programs, including the replacement of guest experts or modification of content, in response to external circumstances.
4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The Client agrees to:
Provide honest and accurate information.
Assume full responsibility for their decisions and actions.
Acknowledge that the services are not a substitute for medical, legal, or financial advice.
Engage respectfully and fully in sessions.
5. CONFIDENTIALITY & COMMUNICATION
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all shared information unless otherwise required by law.
The Service Provider may use anonymised session insights, feedback, or communications for marketing and educational purposes. Identifiable details will not be used without explicit written consent. Clients may opt-out of this usage by notifying the Service Provider in writing.
6. PAYMENT TERMS
All fees are listed on the website and may change without notice. Payment must be made in full prior to the delivery of services, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
Installment payment arrangements must be agreed upon in advance. Missed or late payments may result in suspension or cancellation of services.
7. REFUND & GUARANTEE POLICY
The Service Provider offers a satisfaction-based guarantee.
If, halfway through a service or program, the Client feels the results are not aligned with their expectations, they must submit written feedback explaining the issues. The Service Provider will make tailored amendments to the service during the remainder of the term.
If, after the full program and following adjustments, the Client can demonstrate that none of the expected results were achieved, a full refund will be granted. The Client must provide:
Proof of active participation (live or replay attendance).
Evidence of applying coaching, healing or strategic insights in practice.
An overview of topics and outcomes showing no change.
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days after the program concludes.
8. CANCELLATION
Cancellations must be requested in writing. No refunds are provided for cancellations unless otherwise agreed.
The Service Provider may terminate or suspend access to services at any time if the Client breaches this Agreement or engages in inappropriate conduct. Any unused fees may be refunded at the discretion of the Service Provider.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All materials provided are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the property of the Service Provider.
Clients may not reproduce, share, sell, or distribute any materials without written permission. Access to downloadable materials remains available for at least 12 months, or longer at the discretion of the Service Provider.
Clients are not permitted to record sessions or share materials with third parties.
10. NON-DISPARAGEMENT
The Client agrees not to make or encourage any negative or harmful public statements, reviews, or comments (online or offline) that may damage the reputation of the Service Provider. This includes but is not limited to social media, review platforms, and online forums.
This clause does not prevent the Client from expressing genuine dissatisfaction directly through appropriate dispute resolution channels.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You accept full responsibility for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes.
Our total liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the Client for services rendered.
12. DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)
We collect and store only essential client information such as name, contact details, and service history.
All data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & MEDIATION
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution via good faith negotiation and then mediation, prior to pursuing legal proceedings.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
The Service Provider is not liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond their control (force majeure).
15. SURVIVAL CLAUSE
Clauses relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, limitation of liability, and non-disparagement shall survive the termination of this Agreement.
16. MODIFICATIONS
The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon being posted on the website. Continued use of services indicates acceptance.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
Any disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts, unless resolved earlier via mediation.
18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms and Conditions constitute the complete agreement between you and The Temple of You regarding the services provided.
No other representations or promises shall apply unless agreed in writing and signed by both parties.
By booking or paying for any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
